NOT Redeemable in Connecticut

In retail stores, you may find certain beverage brands that are normally redeemable, but for certain reasons are labeled “Not to be Sold”. These beverages are not to be sold in Connecticut and Recap Recycling does not give refunds for such containers.

If you find such beverage containers being sold, please feel free to contact CT  DEEP Recycling Program at 860-424-3366.

Example: Polard Spring with red lable markings.

All non-redeemable containers stated above are disregarded by RECAP RECYCLING.  Please make sure your container meets these guidelines prior to pickup.

Not adhering to these guidelines could result in loss of refunds.
