FAQs

Although our primary service areas are defined, we do recognize a grace-distance up to 3 miles around our Primary Service Area.

  1. Living within/ around this grace-distance, look to enroll in our weekly pickup service.
  2. If living outside of grace distance and do not meet our PMR, but still need your bottles removed, please leave a message below. We will get back to you promptly with a quote for bottle removal cost. NOTE: this option will entail a higher service charge.

For Businesses/ Organizations collecting large volumes regularly, but operate outside of our PSA, please leave us a message at support@recaprecycling.com , and we will get back to you.

No, the bottle are collected by our driver and tagged to identify your bag(s), then brought back to our facility to be processed. At our facility, we use mechanical and manual methods to count your bottles. After processing, customers will receive an receipt of the total amount given to be redeemed.

Our aim is to maximize convenience in bottle redemption for our clients. Understanding the challenge of estimating bottle quantities without physically counting them, we provide some flexibility. However, if the number falls significantly below our minimum requirement, we issue an initial warning. Should the issue persist, we may adjust the frequency we are able to pickup your bottles throughout the year

Yes, we accept redeemable glass bottles. To learn what is redeemable and what is not visit our Bottles We Accept page.

We ask that glass is given to us in a box or placed into a separate bag from plastic and aluminum container to prevent possible damage to other redeemables, and ultimately result in a loss of refunds.

Please make sure your bottles are empty of all liquids, debris, or foreign substances. Ensure that labeling is intact and bottles are are mangled significantly or flattened. All bottles that do not adhere to these requirements will be disqualified and no refund will be given for those particular bottles.

Also, make sure that your bottles are in secured bags when setting them out for pickup as to not risk them falling out.
